One of the most delicate and demanding cosmetic procedures is the rhinoplasty, or nose reshaping. A human nose is a three-dimensional complex structure composed of bone, cartilage, connective tissue and skin. It literally requires years of study, just to understand the subtle anatomy of the nose. Removing a small piece of cartilage can make a significant difference in the way a nose looks after healing.
Dr. Fealy has not only mastered surgery of the nose, he has mastered the surgical repair of noses that were incorrectly reshaped during a previous surgery. Technically, it’s a procedure known as secondary, or revision, rhinoplasty.
During many nasal reshaping procedures, small chin implants are inserted to create aesthetic facial proportions and a more balanced profile.
